Learning to tie flies is always easier if you take one or more classe. Proper instruction will save a lot of time trying to figure out the best ways to do certain things, and gives you the confidence you need to progress and enjoy the process. Our classes help with all this and more:

Scheduled Private Live Classes
Available by arrangement for $60.00 per person per class.

Private or small group classes
Want a focused private class? No problem. Want to sit in with a few friends? Likewise. We will provide links and access codes to join the online class to whomever you specify. Normally our student maximum is four, but we can accomodate more. And if each student has a camera to show their work, all the better. If not, still tie along or just relax, watch and take notes.

Virtual Class Sessions
We offer our class online with the same quality video as in our instructional videos. Sharp clear images show you every step from the tyers perspective. Detailed narration and instructions cover creating evey fly from start to whip finish. We send you login information to join. Then tie along or just relax and learn as we go.

Get more with our Split Session Class format
Not a "one and done good bye and good luck" class - unless that is what you want.
Our classes are typically 2 hours total. We split the class into two one-hour sessions with normally a ohe week time between sessions. This works well to teach you plenty in the first hour. Then we set you free to practice for one week. Then when we meet for the second session we will clean up any problems you may be having from the first session, then continue and build on the first session. This way, it's not a firehose force feeding you too much at once. More time and work for us but MUCH better for you. And the schedule is flexible for your needs and desires.

Class content can be customized
We will suggest a cirriculum if you're just getting started to give you the best way forward. Or you can determine what you want to learn. Always wanted to learn how to tie classic eastern stream style dry flies? We can do that. Getting ready for a trip, be it fresh or salt water? We can do that. Let us know and we will prepare and provide the highest quality instruction.

Recorded class sessions
Can't make the class? Missed part of it? No worries
! We will record the entire class and post the link on Patreon to view and review as desired. Even if you're not interested at the time, the recording will be there when you are.

PDF Pattern Listings provided as part of the class
We will produce a PDF of each pattern with all required materials needed to tie the flies and send you links to download. Keep at hand, even print out to follow and duild up your own fly pattern favorites notebook! See a sample by clicking here
